Phillips Carbon signs MoU for Tamil black plant

Kottayam, India - Philips Carbon Black Ltd has signed a memorandum of Understanding to build a carbon black plant in Tamil Nadu, South India.
The project is expected to have capacity of at least 140,000 tonnes/year and represents an investment of Rs 5000 million (euro 72 million) at its proposed factory in Thervoikandigai SIPCOT Industrial Park.
