Tokyo NR prices recover above $3

London - Rubber prices regained some of last week's losses on Monday. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up 9 yen at yen 243 ($3.06) on Monday 11 June. Shorter-dated prices were less affected by the positive sentiment, closing up 3 at yen 248 on Monday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX closed up 10 cents, or 4 percent at $2.87 for December deliveries on Monday; July prices were even stronger, closing up by 13 cents at $2.86.
In India, NMCE said June prices were down by 3 rupees at Rs 186 ($3.33). July prices also fell by 4 rupees, to close at Rs 186
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for June closed up 0.2 at Yuan 23.2 ($3.67) per kilo on Monday. July prices were also higher, at yuan 23.2.
