ContiTech to exhibit at Automechanika 2014
ERJ staff report (TP)
Frankfurt/Hanover, Germany – ContiTech will showcase its workshop services and latest products at the Automechanika trade fair, 16-20 September, in Frankfurt am Main.
Visitors will be able to see their belt drive components, air springs, tire pressure monitoring sensors, and diagnostic devices
The ContiTech Power Transmission Group (CPTG) now offers 13 additional timing belt kits complete with water pumps.
CPTG will premiere “a new product” at Automechanika with its new accessory drive kits complete with V-ribbed belts and spanners. It is also systematically expanding its range of belt drive components.
Visitors to the stand will be able to test a new smartphone app, which provides general and technical data about the products. This gives workshops another way of calling up the product information they require.
For detailed information and installation tips, the app is linked to the Product Information Center (PIC), ContiTech's online service. A version of PIC will go online in 16 languages in autumn.
ContiTech said by the time of Automechanika 2014, it will be able to supply more than 2,000 air spring references worldwide.
