Tokyo NR prices weaker on Thursday

London - Rubber prices trended downwards on Thursday 30 August. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were down by 3 yen at just under yen 222 ($2.82) at the end of the evening session on Thursday. Shorter-dated prices werealso down, closing at yen 218 on Thursday evening.
In Singapore, the February 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down at $2.60; September 2012 prices were unchanged, to trade around $2.59 toward the end of the Thursday evening session.
In India, NMCE said September prices were level at Rs 172 ($3.09). October prices fell, to close at just under Rs 170.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for September fell to close at Yuan 21.4 ($3.37) per kilo on Thursday. October prices also fell to close at yuan 21.7.
