Mitsui adds Tafmer capacity in Singapore

Singapore - Mitsui Chemical Corp has announced a project to build capacity for an additional 8000 tonnes of its Tafmer product in Singapore. The company currently makes the product only in Japan.
The new capacity represents an investment of yen 2500 million (euro 25 million). Tafmer is a flexible, lightweight elastomer with wide applications in automotive, industrial, and packaging material industries as an enhancer to improve characteristics of thermoplastic resins or as a base material in flexible products.
