China NR imports increase

Bangkok, Thailand -- China's natural rubber imports in August increased 5 percent from a year earlier to 210,000 metric tons and 23.5 percent from July, according to the International Rubber Consortium.
The total imports for the first eight months of the year rose 13.7 percent from the same period a year earlier to 1.37 million tons, according to the report, which cited China's General Administration of Customs.
