Stralz steps down steps down from Semperit directorship

Vienna -- Richard Stralz, chief marketing officer of Semperit AG Holding and main board member, will not extend his Management Board contract beyond May 31, 2013 and isstepping down from his position effective November 30, 2012.

CEO Thomas Fahnemann will assume responsibility for the areas which Richard Stralz currently heads i.e. Marketing, Sales and Logistics as well as the Industrial Business Sector. As of December 1, 2012, the Management Board will thus consist of CEO Thomas Fahnemann, CFO Johannes Schmidt-Schultes and CTO Richard Ehrenfeldner.

Veit Sorger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, thanked Stralz for his longstanding and successful cooperation with Semperit.
