Lanxess, NTDA launch tyre labelling App
ERJ staff report (DS)
Newbury, UK - The UK-based National Tyre Distributor's Association (NTDA) and Lanxess have launched a new app for smartphone, tablet and PC, which will help dealers improve customer understanding of the impact greener tyres can have on fuel economy and carbon emissions.
The App is free. Motorists enter data about their vehicle, mileage, fuel prices, tyres and driving style and returns the potential savings in cash terms of switching to a higher category of fuel economy according to the EU tyre label.
