JSR sales rise in first half, but profits fall

Tokyo - Sales at JSR Corp increased by 7 percent in the six months to 30 Sept 2012, but operating income fell by 12 percent. The company did not mention specific activities such as rubber in its results statement.
The company said sales for the period rose to yen 182574 million (euro 1777 million) from yen 170341 million. Operting income fell to yen 17057 million from yen 19468 million.
