Wishaw, UK – The Tyre Recovery Association (TRA) has launched a part-worn scheme to ensure all such tires sold by participating retailers are legally compliant.
The audit-based Responsible Part Worn Tyre programme is designed to promote best-practice and raise standards of professionalism in the sector.
Tires that are part of the initiative will have a ‘pre-vulcanised label’ to provide traceability once they have been audited, officials explained at TRA’s recent annual Forum Day in Wishaw.
