Cologne, Germany - The Future Tire Conference organised by European Rubber Journal will, next year, take place at the new Tire Cologne exhibition under an agreement between respective owners Crain Communications and Koelnmesse GmbH.
To be staged 29 May – 1 June 2018 in Cologne, Tire Cologne aims to replace the Reifen expo as German's main exhibition for the international tire trade industry.
Future Tire,, is dedicated to generating high-level debate and discussion on issues that are shaping the future of the tire manufacturing industry.
This year's Future Tire conference, currently taking place in Cologne, is focused on the adoption of advanced automation technologies in the tire manufacturing industry and its supply chain.
The conference features experts from Apollo Tyre, Black Donuts, Bridgestone, Cimcorp, Continental, Goodyear, HF Mixing, Mesnac, Oracle, Pirelli, Rockwell, Siemens and VMI, among others.
Tire Cologne's exhibitors list features most of the world’s top tire makers, including Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Conti, Pirelli, Sumitomo, Yokohama, Maxxis and Giti, Cooper Tire, Zhongce Rubber, Toyo Tires, Kumho, Triangle, MRF, Apollo, Nokian and Nexen.
In addition to tire manufacturers, wholesalers and rim manufacturers as well as automotive service suppliers will take part in the news expo, which is backed by German tire trade association the BRV.
