Brussels – Bridgestone Europe has joined other major brands in Europe raising the price of its tires across all its brands.
In a 21 Feb statement, the Japanese tire-maker announced an increase of up to 8% in its car, van, SUV and motorcycle ranges, across all brands.
According to Bridgestone, the increase is “due to rising raw material costs,” and comes into effect 1 April for summer tires and 1 May for winter tires.
Bridgestone said it would closely monitor raw material pricing to “ensure they can develop and deliver innovative tires and related solutions.”
