Dusseldorf, Germany – Thermoplastic elastomers compounder Hexpol TPE will roll out a new global branding strategy use the K2016 exhibition, the company has announced.
The rejig involves a restructuring of its TPE product brands and the re-naming of each of its European sites to Hexpol TPE. The aim is to support global expansion and create a “more cohesive portfolio” for customers.
In Europe, Hexpol TPE currently operates; Elasto Sweden, Elasto UK and Müller Kunststoffe in Germany, supported by sales offices in France and Belgium. Under the rebrand each of these sites will be re-named to HEXPOL TPE.
Hexpol TPE also operates production, R&D and sales in China and is developing operations in North America – both of which are also marketed under the HEXPOL TPE name.
“We believe the new branding strategy is a natural next step in our evolution and will help to demonstrate the advanced TPE solutions and global support we can offer our customers,” Carsten Rüter, president technology for Hexpol Compounding.
The group said it will also be restructuring its TPE product brands.
For existing customers nothing will change, but for new developments and projects the group will consolidate its Dryflex, Lifoflex and Lifoprene product ranges under the Dryflex name.
The company’s TPE portfolio will then comprise: Dryflex TPEs for consumer, automotive, packaging, industrial and construction applications; Mediprene TPEs for medical device and pharma industries; and Epsea TPEs for food and beverage sealing systems.
