Lightweight silicone foam to feature at aircraft interiors show

Rogers, Connecticut – Rogers Corporation will exhibit its Silfx lightweight silicone comfort foam at the forthcoming Aircraft Interiors Expo 2013.
Silfx is a top pad material designed for aircraft seating. The company developed the non-petroleum based, flame retardant material to enable thin cushion design, longer cushion life and lasting passenger comfort.
Rogers will exhibit a range of silicone products for aerospace, including seals, gap fillers, carpet padding and barriers for both fire and sound. According to the company, all these products meet applicable flame resistance, smoke and toxicity requirements set by regulators, Airbus and Boeing.
Aircraft Interiors Expo 2013 is an international event for emerging designs in cabin interiors, in-flight entertainment, connectivity and passenger services. It will take place from 9-11 April at the Hamburg Messe, Germany. Rogers will be at Stand 7A1.
