Jiangxi, China - Taiwan's Yung Liien Enterprise is planning to break ground on its 10kT/year project for silicone rubber products at Yunshan Industrial Park in Yongxiu county, Jiujiang, Jiangxi province.
The project has 500 million Yuan (€65 million) investment with a total area of 50,000 m2. It is expected to bring in an annual production value of 600 million Yuan (€78 million) when in operation.
Yung Liien is a manufacturer of rubber pet toys, rubber sports equipment and silicone rubber kitchen wares headquartered in New Taipei, Taiwan.
The company has another mainland plant in Guangzhou, Guangdong province with a 3.5kT/year capacity, according to Li Hanjun, vice president of Yung Liien.
"We chose the site in Jiangxi because it's near one of our raw material suppliers," said Li. "The contract was signed in July but we are still waiting for the local government to make the land ready for construction.
We hope the facilities can go into operation as scheduled in August or September 2015."
