Pirelli in court over autoclave death

Carlisle, UK – Pirelli will enter a plea in early January in a case brought against it concerning the death of a worker in an industrial steam oven, the News & Star has reported from Carlisle Crown Court.

As reported previously by ERJ, the fatal incident occurred at Pirelli’s Carlisle facility on 30 Sept 2012. A case was subsequently brought against the company by the UK Health & Safety Executive (HSE).
