Japanese automakers produce 10% more cars abroad in 2012 Q3 than in previous year

Tokyo – Overseas vehicle production by Japanese automakers in the third quarter of calendar year 2012 totalled 3,803,038 units, an increase of 9.9% from the same quarter in the previous year, according to the latest statistics from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA).

This outcome reflects expanded local production worldwide, except in Africa, during the quarter under review, says JAMA.
