Japan – Tokai Rubber Industries has admitted certain breaches of Japan’s Occupational Safety and Health Act.
The breaches relate to maintenance work on a steam accumulator at its Matsuasaka factory in August 2011. The company has solemnly apologised for failing to send the correct paperwork to the authorities.
The company has said it will ensure managers are aware of their responsibilities in this area.
