Bandvulc cuts jobs as tyre market goes flat

UK retread tyre company Bandvulc is to cut just under 10 percent of its workforce after being hit by the economic downturn.

A total of 20 jobs out of a full time staff of 275 will go at company HQ at Lee Mill, Plymouth.

The company is one of the largest suppliers in the UK of retread tyres for company truck fleets.
