CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 16)–Continental Tire North America Inc. is raising prices, effective Jan. 1, on its commercial and off-the-road tyres as a result of rising raw material and other costs.
The increase of between 3-6 percent affects all of Conti’s truck and off-road brands including Continental, General and Semperit.
Conti joins three other tyre makers in announcing price hikes commencing in December and January. Yokohama Tire Corp. and Pirelli S.p.A. each are raising prices 3 to 5 percent in December.
